O-Town debuted in 2000 – and after a decade-long hiatus – the boys are back together!
In association with J-Records and Bunim/Murray Productions, Clive Davis gave audiences firsthand insight into the creation of a pop band on ABC’s hit reality series “Making the Band.” Long before “American Idol,” “X-Factor,” or “The Voice” premiered, the reality series gave audiences a behind-the-scenes peek into the entire developmental process of stardom, from casting, to songwriting and recording, to making music videos and setting out on tour. Audiences watched the process unfold week after week, in the first reality series of its kind.
By the end of Season 1, “Making the Band” spawned a boy band sensation that rivaled *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, and LFO. A handsome and talented group of teenage heartthrobs was born, and O-Town was an instant success.
Under the helm of pop idol manager Lou Pearlman, who also managed Britney Spears and New Kids on the Block, it wasn’t long until O-Town climbed the charts. Their most iconic song – romantic ballad “All or Nothing” – reached #3 on Billboard’s adult-contemporary chart. Teenage girls worldwide knew the names and faces of Ashley Parker Angel, Erik-Michael Estrada, Dan Miller, Trevor Penick, and Jacob Underwood during the pinnacle of the boy band era of pop music.
Now, after a ten-year absence from the music scene, the guys are all grown-up and they have reunited as a quartet! They recently recorded a brand new album entitled Lines & Circles, and they are now embarking on a much anticipated reunion tour.
Throughout 2016, O-Town will perform their fresh single “Chasin’ Ater You” in cities nationwide, and they will surely melt hearts with their classic hits like “Liquid Dreams.”
On Thursday, February 25th at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, O-Town will be joined by modern adult-contemporary recording artist and songwriter Carly Robyn Green. O-Town fans have heard Carly’s music featured on many popular women’s television shows like “Dance Moms,” “Say Yes to the Dress,” “Real Housewives,” "Young & The Restless," "Fashion Star," and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” She has sung back-up for Cee Lo Green, opened for Chris Brown, and sung duets with Deborah Cox. Audiences should look out for her new project “What Love Is All About.”
This will be a nostalgic reunion not to be missed!
